Actually, I'm thinking the other way round because if 120 is a small market, even though those users want film, Kodak and Fuji will kill them. Even for 135, I think it will fade out but probably we can still buy films in some 3rd World countries while it may still be cheaper for people to own a camera. Anyway, shoot while there are still films

Though there are number of Digital back, but they are mainly shooting with film and some switch to use both film and CCD. 120 film is widely been used from 645 to RoundShot, which cover major professional market of commercial photography. No matter how advance on CCD, manufacturer can only built something larger than 135 before 120. As 120 has 3 to 7times larger than 135, I doubted how can film be replaceable. But, 135 is another story. Like D30 in used market, it is ~$10K which is pretty affordable to many prosumer. This is just 2 years+ after 1st release. With Moris Law on microcomputer but counting half speed, 3 years to get a double spec. With 10 years, we get full frame CCD with 12Mpix at current D60 price! With 5 more years, that 12Mpix DC can be the market value will set to current F100. How would use film? ankor 新進會員	9) 2002/04/12 01:19 我的運氣應該是算好的我的第一台相機就是用我DAD的 PENTAX LX 那時候真的是浪費了那台機器不過他的相機我大概也只會用那台在那個時候我是不會傳給下一代的我並不擔心傳統或數位的問題因為我不想生小孩 HAHAHAHHA 40/f3.5 or 50/f2.8 我的新問題出現了；要選那一支????

notcool 新進會員	12) 2002/04/12 09:53 From technology point of view, it seems 120 still have some time. However, if 120 market is small, these film manufacturers do not care. They care about profits. They killed some films before. Probably, some small film manufacturers may produce for this market. Anyway, I don't mind switching to digitial for 135 if Superman's prediction is true.

森美新進會員	18) 2002/04/12 13:56 你地個個都講緊自己的爸爸留下什麼機給自己，現在我就講下我留下什麼機給我的女兒，我的女兒今年才四歲半，佢都用緊我部mju 1同我影相啦！不是當玩具，真的有菲林，有時還覺得她的所謂構圖好像真的有點童真感覺一樣。
*香港至NET超人* 新進會員	19) 2002/04/12 14:13 除了菲林及相機會變舊及有可能不再運作, 更大理由是DC的發達已將新世代孩子搶走了, 在網上看NEWSGROUP多年, 踏入90年代末, 說菲林攝影的NEWSGROUP雖然多了, 但DC谷一下子就追過了(POST數目), 而且DC世界的相機數量, 已經接非135的數目, 拍攝量更有可能超越, 過多十年八載, 我怕只有我們這些老鬼抱著135SLR大說「想當年」.... 我爸爸傳給我的YASHICA 35GSN電子連鏡機, 早就不用, 自已發展一套系統, 我兩已經決定不生一下代, 就算收養, 我相信他也會如我一樣找他的天地. 而且科技先進, 相機也與科技結合, 未來必然是電腦掌管大部份事身, 現在非數碼工具, 早晚也會淘汰. CASSETTE帶流存, 也因CD的出現的失去很多市場, 現在CASSETTE帶市場都是在落後地區, 我相信再過十年, 一樣淘汰, 現如VCD取代VHS作為預錄媒介. ----------Never ever visit these site--------- http://ctlee.0catch.com/ http://www.images.com.hk/
