If I have money to buy a car, and I don"t know much about car, I would just go to the car shop to ask the staff to recommend a high quality car for me. If I find it quite suit me after the recommendation by the staff, I would buy it immediately. The assumption is that I don"t care about money.
I think that the couples had the same thought at that time. They had money and they wanna bought a good camera, but they were totally new to cameras. They trusted the staff, and trusted the recommendation from the staff. But the staff was not discharging an appropriate service attitude. |

其實個客戶都唔抵爭, 未攪清楚係咩機 (或者自己要咩機) 就話要試, 如果我係 Sales 我都會當佢流流地唔買居多

P.S. 我以前做過 part-time sales, 邊 d 係買邊 d 唔係, 好易睇, 呢對 couple 就算無 jsklee 君出現, 都係唔買居多 |

He requested the staff to teach him how to use the camera, but the PK didn"t try his best to use alternative method to teach him. Although the husband didn"t request the PK to use the display black version to teach him, but his wording obviously told the PK that he wanna be taught about how to use the camera, no matter it is a new one or a display one. He just wanna know how to use it. The PK just insisted on saying that "Do you want to buy?" I 100% disagree with such service attitude.
If the PK did really wanna help the husband, he could teach him how to use the camera by using the black display model, although the husband was not telling him to do so directly.

At that time, the husband requested two thing: (1) to see the colour (2) to know how to use it
I appreciated the PK that he satisfied the husband"s first request. But I totally disagree with what he replied to the husband regarding his second request.

我承認有d客大把錢唔志在,但我覺得起碼佢地都有責任了解一下件產品先囉。就算唔識用,個客都冇理由要求要試新拆盒果部而唔試部display。佢講到好堅話想買都冇用啦。有時又唔可以怪得晒個sales既,呢d客有時都幾乞人憎。 |

咁耐以黎,我都係幫襯過永成一次買Pentax鏡頭,就是2003年10月份,記得當時售貨員的服務態度都過得去啦!!!不過,我嫌佢地唔擺Pentax貨品有些較為"那過"!!!
所以,現在我如果要購買Pentax鏡頭的話,旺角區一定去萬成搵康哥幫襯!!否則,就去紅磡風度搵丘生。 |

Why I speak to the PK because he continuously repeated two times of "Do you wanna buy it?" As I have mentioned, if he really wanted to help the couples, he could take the display model and teach them how to use the camera. Why he said the same sentence two times?
I understand that he was afraid that he would scratch the camera, so he "warned" the husband by saying "Do you wanna buy it" at the first time. But after the husband requested to be taught about how to use it, I think that the PK could choose to teach him by using the display model, rather than just arguing with the husband.
In fact, I had already gave him "one chance" to use a more appropriate way to treat the customer, but he missed it. And at the second time, he still missed it. So I could not be slient. I don"t think that at the third time or the fourth time he would change his attitude.

The husband didn"t request to be taught by using the new model. He just request the PK to teach him how to use it. If I were the PK, I would use the display model to teach them how to use it. |

對一個新手o黎講﹝尤其係身邊冇乜朋友玩攝影﹞,真係未必識用部機。就算老手,都唔係一拎部機上手就會識用。我覺得一個sales o係工作責任上應該將最基本o既操作方法教比個顧客知。 T3 就話幾千蚊,唔算太貴。 有o的機講緊o既係過萬,如果唔識用,叫人點決定買唔買?﹝幾萬蚊o既樂器都有得試啦...﹞ 我覺得demo 機應該係比個客試下手感、基本操作方法,比多o的資訊個客,等佢考慮買唔買... 事實上我o係萬成見過有客試用H1 同Contax 645 作比較... 唔明點解尼面T3 demo 機都冇得試~

十分難講,若果 D 機花佐,sales 自己要「咩飛」,所以有無得試要視 sales 而定。而 sales 亦有難言之隱匕 |

雖然又唔算真係好好,但其實我自己又唔覺得雙成既服務態度真係好差,不過相 比之下我覺得萬成應該會比永成好d,好似有次我只係買支千幾蚊既鏡都算幾好 招呼,我買既只係騰龍70-300,我先問佢可唔可以拎黎睇下試下,個sales已經 肯拎支for Nikon既裝落部擺display 既F80比我試,又有傾有講,到我試完諗住 買時,原來佢地咁岩無for Pentax既貨,於是叫我落少少訂幫我訂..到支鏡返 左,去拎貨時即場試鏡時個sales見我支舊鏡幾多塵,又肯同我清理下(因為我部 機太多塵了 XDD),呢d服務態度我覺得都算係咁啦 |

我在永成來來回回買左幾萬元攝影器材,未遇過不開心的事情, 有問必答個隻, 睇完以上的討論, 我覺得我都好彩喇. 話時話,而家永成真係"細"左好多,賣手電的位置占左唔少地方 |

Anyway雙成的服務我覺得不是很差,最緊要你揀少人的時間去. 還有,若見到大陸客在買"全套",多數都是一機幾鏡,連埋燈...配件 就知難而退啦 |

And some how the couple don"t actually know what they want to buy. They even haven"t decided whether to buy a DC of film camera, it"s not suitable to give any suggestion.
BTW, I also found that Man Shing is better than Wing Shing. Although both are not worth visting...

At that moment, the husband asked the PK whether T3 is good. The PK just replied that it used zeiss lens so it is good, otherwise it would not be so expensive, and that"s all. He didn"t continue to tell the couples that how good and how bad the camera is. Then the husband asked the PK to take the display model to him to have a try. When he was looking through the viewfinder, I talked to him. I told him that I am a T3 user and I think that it is a good camera.
Yes, I agree that at that time he still didn"t have any decision, but I disagree that it was not a time for me to give suggestion.
Like this forum, many people are still deciding what to buy, then it is not suitable for us to give them our opinion? |
