在股東特別大會上,重組方案被包括第二大股東hermes否決,而且可能引起法律訴訟。

SOLMS (dpa AFX) - which rescue of the steeped in tradition camera manufacturer Leica is again endangered. Two large shareholders did not want to participate for the time being in a vital capital increase, because against the measure several contestation complaints run, communicated the enterprise on Friday in Solms. Thus the reorganization is "lastingly endangered". The executive committee cannot exclude that the conversion of the capital increase fails because of the complaints. The general meeting had decided the expenditure of 13.5 million new shares, in order to strengthen the financial situation of the society. Against this capital measure ANNOUNCEMENT however five contestation complaints were submitted. The Leica Camera AG led with four plaintiffs comparison discussions. These ran so far however without result. The large shareholders Hermès internationally SCA and the ACM project development GmbH do not want to draw new shares according to enterprise data, until the contestation complaints are settled. Leica was under the pressure boom-ends digital photography and the price purge in the industry into a heavy crisis with red numbers and strong turnover losses geraten./mur/so

LEICA都只係一門生意, 識欣賞既係比得起錢既買家. 大哥成要做既都唔會係呢D小生意, 一座名門既利潤, 夠LEICA蝕多廿年.

I tend to agree too, Leica do not automatically means "品味" As of today, Leica is a sad ghost of improper managemnt of a outdated Business model. Combine with a limited market, limited product line and significant out of touch with its market gene.

The fact is Leica had no one to blame but themselves. Their over-arrogance in their product and the gross disrespect for the market lead to what they have today. They have in past years ignore and refuse to accept market change and failed to even deliver on their virtuals. Let's be real and face the facts. Why couldn't Leica maintain a viable business. Well because they cannot sell enough of their ware, and why was that, because their ware is simply priced out of market and do not deliver what the price accounted for. And for that also, competetion deliver just as much at better price and frequently better options and even better quality.

While 香港至*NET*超人 speak in a rather unkind manner ( which he is free to do, afetr all we respect liberty of speech ). I have to caution our fellow forum mebers that using foul language on public places like this forum as Mr. KKGARDEN do is considered quite a negative in nettique. I hope our guys can learn to respect other's right even though you might not agree with his/hers

這不單是生產模式問題, 數碼化其實令更多人認識攝影, 更多人認知leica的存在, 但只專注昨日黃花(135)的leica, 曾幾何時與FUJI及PANASONIC合作搞數碼化, 而COSINA收購BESSA之後亦加入黃花市場, 結果合作無吋進, 後門比人開, 慘敗. 除數碼化外, 沒有AF亦是一個重大問題, 全面AF化至今已經近20年, LEICA做過甚麼? 我懷疑連開會研究AF化都未有. 而LEICA的價錢是貴, 但LV手袋便宜? ROLEX機械比LEICA準確? 萬寶龍比LEICA註名? ZERO箱比LEICA多款式? 生意除搵錢外, 還可以保持時尚及高格調, 生意失敗的主因多半都是管理問題, 少半才是質量問題.

數位化讓更多人認識攝影,哇勒,數位相機買的人多一些,會按快門就叫作認識攝影,這果然是門顯學!

拿LV,Rolex,萬寶龍來比徠卡?這是那一門子的比較?貴的東西就可以歸作一類,那房子,金子,鑽石,太空梭也很貴,是不是徠卡跟他們可以一起比?呵,有些東西長得真是簡單,真的是太簡單了。

福士汽車在多年前也遇過同樣的問題.德國車廠在70年代受到日本車以平價,款新,冷氣涼的打擊,令當時以生產甲蟲車名震天下的福車廠面臨破產.一向以耐用,設計獨特的甲蟲車也要求突破.不但成為電影的主角(神仙車,現年重拍),也以環遊地球,生產最多等破世界紀錄等成新閒焦點.同時生產另一款車Golf,以小型,平價,年青等賣點和日本車爭市場.
最後使出殺手鐧,向全世界宣告甲蟲車停產,車壇焦點立刻落在她身上.今天的福士車廠健在,還可以和寶馬廠爭勞斯來勞的般權.
60年前在希特拉的軍備生產中兩間名廠,各有不同命運,也許Leica應向福士學習.或有一天會像甲蟲車一樣,用全新型像和我們見面.

After reading carefully the press release and all its related report. Hardly can one not reason that Leica is simply ( if not certain ) way out of their mind. The re-structure plan calls for injection of Capital to finance the operational capital but yet no real concrete plan to its market position. product management, R&D, product rationalization, price rationalization or anything. In a word, all the plan call for is for the shareholder to accpet a 2/3 lost on the stock face value, re-invest several million dollar yet again via stock market to fuel the operational going. But no real solution to its predictment in business. No wonder the big guys reject them.

Very much like Rolls Royce tha car mfr, They might have the best of the best in old time technology, but time moves on .... already

ddx, 多人知道不等同多人認真攝影, 更不等同整體影藝有吋進, 但經濟上實有大幅攀升, 而leica的名氣應沒有任何損失, 只有更多人知道, 當然, 知道不等同更多人會買, 或更多人認知其好在那裡.

為何不可? 都是奢侈品, 都有一定市場, 亦有一把老歷史, 與及光榮的站在行業高峰, 可是收場卻不一樣.
但要拉到穿梭機, 似乎你的討論方式很有問題.

算吧,那些供奉leica為神的人,讓他們折衷順變吧。

穿梭機的比擬不錯吧?都是一個用十倍價錢做火箭同樣的工作,reliability還較低,只是讓財大氣粗的國家展示國力的奢侈品。

穿梭機本義是可以再用多次, 比之以前土星號等只可用一次的大火箭, 美國佬也倒會計數, 可能手藝就不是德國的, 實有工藝級數分別, 爆都冇話可說. 我最記得睇二次大戰記錄片, 德國坦克用極無話壞車, 但美國的就個個月大修, 大炮亦是無時準. 可是耐用也有代價, 如英國MK插頭及ROLLS, MK比澳洲奇勝打得好慘, ROLLS更要賣股票.....
