檔案沒有辦法儲存History資料。；換言之，檔案關閉之後再打開，這方面資料就不見了。
所謂的non-distructiv，通常是指圖層（layer）之類的安排。
PS的操作絕大部分都「可以是」non-distructive。 |

non-destructive在各種應用下解釋自是有所不同:)
很多高階軟體(不只影像處理)都能做到把操作參數獨立於原始資料之外。
不過如果不能儲存，那我只能說，實際應用上就只是達到Photoshop history的等級而無法超越，拿這個辭當宣傳噱頭實在很無聊。
技術上來說，Nef的格式要儲存histroy是作得到的，不過多個tag罷了。不過如果這樣做，除非他連最終影像也存個snapshot，不然每次開檔就要聽貝多芬命運交響曲...... |

Posted by Jason Abbott My own experience is that I can highlight 50 NEF files in Adobe Bridge, and right click to say "Open in Camera RAW" and they all come up in four or five seconds in ACR. If I try to open the same number of files in Capture 4.4, I could be waiting for a minute or two, and moving from one pic to the other in Capture can take several seconds, where in ACR it's basically an instant operation. Capture NX 有一個D1X專屬功能，『10 Megapixel Output』,在Nikon 影像事業部工程師芝崎清茂的專訪中曾經公佈 D1 的一個秘密，在正式公開的規格書上 D1 搭載的是 270 萬像素的感光元件，實際上的像素數目應該是四倍也就是 1080 萬才對。
相信擁有 D1X 的大大們，終於吐了一口氣，原來 D1X 也是 10 Megapixel Club 的成員ㄚ！

喂~~從NC3.5就可以幫D1X解出千萬相素啊！那是Nikon當年因為「當家中鋒」身長不足6尺（540M有效畫素）給他設計的充氣娃娃衣嘛>_<
D1X的CCD有如兩片274M的D1 CCD橫排併在一起（寬6高2），解成千萬據我想是高的方向插點兩次的結果！ |

UPOINT TECHNOLOGY | Back to Contents At the other end of the process, the recent collaboration between Nik Software ( http://www.niksoftware.com) and Nikon ( http://www.nikonusa.com) has produced an image editing program unlike any we've seen. Capture NX, based on what Nik calls UPoint technology, edits an image by adjusting the properties of as many color control points you set in the image. A Color Control Point Note the 'E'-shaped sliders on her face -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nik's Josh Haftel demoed the UPoint aspect of Capture NX by opening an image of a woman in a field of flowers with a blue, cloudy sky behind her. The sky was a bit dull, so he clicked in it. A small graphic similar to a capital E with one more horizontal bar was overlaid on the image where he had clicked. The bars of the E were, in fact, sliders for Brightness, Contrast and Saturation. In addition, each color control point can have Hue Red, Green, Blue and White Balance sliders. Adjust the sliders and you are also adjusting every other pixel in the image with the same characteristics as the color control point's single pixel. Yes, that's a little too far reaching. In fact, the clouds became a little too blue when he adjusted the sky's color control point to be brighter. The solution is to add another control point to adjust the clouds. Control points negotiate between themselves whenever you add them and adjust their sliders to decide who controls which pixels. They remain visible so you can find them as you work, too. did research on Nik the company that produces the new product. According to the press release it is new from the ground up. Their specialty is making PhotoShop filters to do exotic effects. The new product will have layers and very intersting masks. The demo product will mask a face just by clicking on the flesh tone and when you denoise or soften the face the eyes and lashes are crystal clear and sharp. I spoke to the guy doing the demo of Capture NX at PMA. I asked if there was an upgrade path for existing Capture users. He said there would be a special price. So it seems that existing Capture owners will not have to pay full price. A few other things I noted. 1. The Capture NX software seemed to be quite responsive. I was told the system used for the demo was nothing special. 2. There will be a Mac version. 3. +1,Capture 是software是不需要after service的,所以沒有理由賣得比美國的Adorama 或B&H所賣的價錢貴 |
