我買了一套有盒的, 有617毛玻璃及片盒, 毛玻璃取景器應該是有增光片.
是人民幣$4500, 即是US$545左右.

I am interested in this extended 617 back, but I"m
not sure about it"s supported focal length range on
mono-rail 4x5 view cameras such as Sinar or Toyo.
Do you have any idea about that? (Since I read from your
report about the 180mm lens (or longer) are not supported.)
I would assum it at least support from 72mm-150mm lens.
Could using the KT617 on a mono-rail camera extend the compatibility
to 180mm or 240mm lens?
By the way, do you know if KT camera accept mail order from
Taiwan? (Or if there"s any dealer available in Hong Kong?)

I have placed the order already, but it"s more expensive.
The postage alone cost USD40, I think it"s because of the weight (about 3kg). A friend of mine is their dealer in Malaysia, no problem in getting one here. Should be cheaper if we buy directly in KT. Waiting for my new toy now...

I look forward to hearing your experience with this film back kit.
By the way, are you planning to use it on a lihof-technika type
camera or a mono-rail camera? I would be interested in the supported
focal length of this kit on different type of cameras. According
to the introduction of the manufacturer, it can even be used with
a Schneider 480mm APO-Symmar on an Arca-Swiss. (I don"t need that
long focal lenth though... 300mm would be really enough for me...)
However, according to the report of 超人, 180mm might even be marginal
on a Toyo 45A. So, I got a bit confused with such a big difference.
(I doubt if the size of camera bellows differs so much?)

Tele design lens is help; it does shorten the bellow length. |

我有TOYO 45G, BAG BELLOW及凹板, 75鏡在使用上應沒有問題, 但180是片盒本身的機械障礙, 不關機身的事. 長鏡中, 以FUJINON T300的BELLOW DRAW最短, CUT邊情況應該最少, 奈何香港的富士代理只埋DC仔, 專業產品有錢都極難買到....

Yes, the KT617 should work properly with 72mm to 150mm.
Since not all camera able to use 72mm, and it is a huge lens, it is safe to say that 80mm (Symmar-XL) should be practially the widest lens for this film magazine.

為什麼現在617相機這麼貴
幾天前無意間查到1998年日本相機年鑑
Fuji 617 與ART PANORAMA 617
其主機單價與當時Nikon F5相當接近
以Fuji 617加上90mm廣角鏡價格約為Nikon F5兩倍價錢
而現在Fuji 617價位真的是不便宜
若是以Linhof 617價位更是高得嚇人

小弟覺得大陸製的Fotoman 617更勝於fuji or art 617,而且機身價位也合理---about 50K. |
