jacky 論壇版主	258) 2004/09/19 22:08 Dear All! Just back to Beijing with Vincent 2 hours ago! Sorry to use English here due to I do not have my note book with me this time.......... We two shoot for 4 days and burst about 70 rolles! Most of the photo I shoot with 210/f4! 50/3.5 & 80/2.8 only take 1/3 of the usage! I will explain later! Several things are very important to H1 fan: 1. The battery against with low temperature, -5 degree, is very bad but acceptable! In the early morning, it is freezing in Bashang, the battery can stand about "One Hour"! Then, the power comes down very fast! So, I need to change with another set! Put the frozen one to inner pocket for about 30 minute, the power is coming back! If the time you are shooting for the sun rise with bloody red cloud, the power go down, ........$&^%(&(&)(_&............ 2. Most of the H1 parts made by matel! So, in lower temperature & moisture, the camera body & Lens get "Ice"!!!! Supprisely, it still work fine!!!!This morning, Vincent & I shoot for sun rise at Duck Lake, the temperature is arround -3! Within 10 minute, the camera & lens surround by ice!It working for another 5 minute, the UV filter & CPL surface become foggy! So, I need to change the filter...! And the sun just come out, the cloud become bloody red.............@$&^%(*^.... 3. Do not breath to View Finder during cold weather, for the moisture become ice immediately! With a cloth to cover the camera body and lens all the time to prevent it get ice! And always have extra UV filer and CPL to change it during moisture cold early morinig! The Lens Shield can help to against the moisture and cold for another 10 minute extend!!! It is better to have extra film magazine with film loaded and " Roll the film with another battery" before you go to the shooting site! During the time we are shooting for sun rise with blood red cloud in -3 degree & moisture, it is almost impossble to change the film with glooves on! When you take off the glooves, in 30 second, your finger become all thumbs, it make the film change more difficult!!!! I will back to Shanghai tomorrow afternoon! Maybe can have the photo to PO late tomorrow or Tuesday! Talk to you guy later!
