DigitalBrain, I can feel your anger, but I don"t think number of cars vs bicycles is a good comparison of how well a country is developed, especially when considering the high fuel consumption of American cars and the environmental friendliness of bicycles.
Sure the Chinese Government attachs great importance to money, but now the entire world is exploring opportunities to make money in China, so I"m puzzled about PRC"s reluntance to deploy its navy to settle the case. As I mentioned in my previous post, perhaps the islands were already ceded to Japan secretly. |

What I was trying to focus is how the techology improve human"s life. If you look at quality of life in North AMerica, you will notice what human being should need at least. Of course the gas consumption affect a lot to our environment. But it also help people travel around very efficiency. I think this problem is complicated. Many toyota primus can be seen in here, Canada. Gas comsumption is getting solved better.
If I was the head of Chinese government, I would improve:
-The whole concept of Chinese culture
-education
-law
-management
-economy
May be I"ve gone too far from the topic.

Dear all, even the GDP growth of China is 8-9% per year, it will take years to catch up Japan. Also for the so called fast growing market as China, the total GDP is approx. only half of New York State of USA. As you all know China is very much depending on Japanese investment in China, and it takes money to play power games !! Who knows long time ago there might be secret deals between Communist Party and Japanese Government that until now China is owing Japan a lot of money ?? However, economy is one thing, I hate the current corrupted Chinese Government so much that if they think they can represent Chinese people, they"d better do something to kick the Jap"s butts around no matter what. Or Chinese people will become laughing stock in front of foreigners.

本人在軍事上的看法
自古以來中國是一個陸權的國家,
在幾千年的歷史中,
鄭和叫做似樣d,有支船隊睇下,
講海上實戰經驗,明朝鄭成功,
應該係目前中國史上,海戰第一人。
話晒佢打敗過荷蘭人,"解放"台灣。
清未以後,大家心照啦!
一場海戰都未嬴過。
以目前日本海軍的實力和經驗,
應該是強過解放軍。
我不是想長他人志氣,
而這是軍事上的現實。
希望中國海軍早日壯大。 |
