I have watched the demo, but I did not try it myself.
The result is not bad but the apparatus too expensive and the process is not that convenience. It is somehow a failure product. |

Polaroid當年都出過即影即有slide，不過畫質有如電視機，一間間，兩野就死直了。 |

why they don"t invest and release high quality instant slide to the market?

Slide is close to the end of life.
The main purpose of slide are:
1) projection as for any kind of presentation;
2) DTP and pre-press image capture;
3) printing to photo;
4) personal entertainment.
In purpose 1, LCD/DLP projector with fancy computer effects are almost replace all slide projection during all kinds of presentation.
In purpose 2, we still need slide to do DTP. But many of the none artistic purpose photos already using DC/DSLR/DIGI-MAGAZINE to complete.
In purpose 3, Kodak and Fuji already stopped production of direct print paper.
In purpose 4, this is the only reason to support me to shoot slide, nothing else. But, taste will change and digital stuff getting better from time to time. The need of slide decrease a lot after I got DSLR.
Instant slide is another funny product and being killed by DC easily.
You may able to find it in Photo Scientific if they got old stock.
