Focus and Quality As mentioned above, you will sacrifice auto-focus in darker conditions. You will have an f/8 lens which is darn slow. The larger concern is image degradation, which is significant with the TC20EII. I suggest you shoot a trial in store using the 300/4 in conjunction with the TC14/17/20 to decide for yourself. Use a tripod and make sure to wedge something like a film cannister between the lens foot and the lens to damp vibration. The 300/4 is notorious for this. 那段選購附件的說明有另外著明(勿用TC-17E2,TC-20E2座自動對焦操作)
搞不太清楚到底增距鏡能不能裝上去了
哪位大大能指導一下呢?

據自己使用的經驗.TC-17E2.TC-20E2.TC-14E2以上原廠倍鏡全都可上.且自動對焦功能都正常
加了倍鏡.勢必在畫質上做出妥協.1.7倍是我所能容忍的限度.供你參考 |

Christmas Full Moon - TCs Compared The images below shot with a D70, Nikkor AFS 300mm F/4. Both 1/640s F/11. One was shot with a TC14E-II and the other with a TC20E-II. The 600mm image was downsized to the same size as the 420mm image. Both have identical exposure and post processing. The 600mm image had one additional sharpening step of 100/0.3/0 in PC CS after downsizing. The images were taken about 27 minutes apart. 加上1.4加倍鏡後，最大光圈降成多少呢？
加上1.7加倍鏡後，最大光圈降成多少呢？

用1.4x增距鏡，光圈變成f4x1.4=f5.6
用1.7x增距鏡，光圈變成f4x1.7=f6.8
