Chanford, thanks for your nice advice! I'll try 220 film in standard insert, and would report the result what I'll observe it. Since I'll have photo-taking trip to Alaska with my C645, I wish use the 220 film instead of 120 film dut to it offer more pictures in each roll than 120, so I can save the time to reload film. |

there is one disadvantage of 220 film, is not many choices. i am not sure, but fuji is the 220 film i have ever seen. by the way what lens are you going with? i want to take a trip to Japan also. but never have spare time , money and partner. i suggest to take 120 film as well with your trip! |

It seems hard to find 220 film in shops! I'll take all my lens including 45, 80 and 140 in trip. Anyway, I hope having a chance to test 220 film before trip. Maybe I'll take 120 film finally. Thanks a lot! |

Brother Jimmy,
Just a friendly reminder......when you put a 220 film into the MFB-1A, remember to switch the plate to 220. If not all your pictures will be out of focus. Have fun in Alaska. |

Dear wongwai: Thanks for that! I'll try it. Have your ever shot with 220 film in standard MFB-1A? |

Brother Jimmy,
No, never shoot 220 before. The reason is that due to the limited shoot I got from 120 format (16 frames), I sort of force myself to work on picture composition, instead of just shoot everything I see (which I did quite often in 135). Yes I guess you can call me SILLY. |

hello Jimmy Lin
have you got N1? i have been planning to have one for long time, but still just hesitate!! |

Chanford, I don't have N1 because I use Canon system for 135 for five years more than C645. If I bought C645 earlier, I would buy N1 as 135 SLR since its lens are integrated with C645 so well. What is the performance when you mount C645 lens into N1 by NAM adapter? |

I have learned how to switch 120 to 220 in MFB-1A, its really a smart design. I wonder if other medium camera insert has the same design. If I use 220 instead of 120, I can reduce the number film rolls from 30 to 15 in my trip, hence not occpy my bag, its a advantage to take 220, but nobody has use it in the standard back, and not well know if its performance is the same as in 220 vacuum back ...., so I still hesitate ... @!?@ |

Chanford, I am a computer programmer, photography is only my habby and one important part of my life. I sometimes have a crazy idea to be a professional photographer, but without the courage to be because of it hard to do this job forever in Taiwan. Its a surprizing thing to hear your current situation. What's your planning now? |

Chanford, Do you know the mechanical shutter cable can work well in C645 without battery, I will use C645 to take pictures in North pole, I am worry it will shut down in that so cold place if I use battery, hence planning to purchace a mechanical shutter cable to replace my current electrical shutter cable. |

Dear Jimmy Lin
i am sorry i have no idea about your question, but as you said if the electrical shuttle cable wouldn't work in such cold place, the c645 body wouldn't also, would it? they are the same full of electric right. that why hasselblad is good sometimes!!
i suggest you to ask people in pro shop, that they could be able to answer such question, and also they sell something perhaps bags or equirment for shooting in cold place.
sounds really exciting to going NORTH POLE!! just don't forget to show us your masterpiece!! |

All right, in case of having good shots. I just take my new panroma camera Noblex 135U in hand, taking some night shots on the top of my home building, need more time to test it before I go to Alaska. |
