vituslee 新進會員	22) 2003/09/17 23:55 I purchased an Arcatech Ultimate Ballhead recently. Very light weight, but holds camera extremely tight, even with long lens putting on. A really good head.

Chan Ting 新進會員	24) 2003/09/18 00:34 The Lightest one is Gitzo "zero" series (G1027 or G1028). Less than 800g (not include the head), can support 3 kg equipments. See this: http://www.gitzo.com Don"t know whether there is any shop in HK selling them.

news00 新進會員	27) 2003/09/18 15:49 I have a Gitzo G1028 tripod. Really very light and still stable. I have used this tripod to support my Pentax MZ-S with battery grip & FA80-200/f2.8. They weigh about 2.4 Kg and the tripod is still OK. To increase its stability, you can add some mass to the hook underneath its central post. I bought it from Tin Cheung at around $1900. I use velbon ball head. It is very light, too.

For my understanding, Gitzo 10xx series doesn"t have hook for extra mass. I have checked with Gitzo web site too.

news00 新進會員	32) 2003/09/19 08:51 Tin Cheung sells water goods or 2nd hand goods, but I don"t think that it sells copy goods. I was also surprised when I bought it from Tin Cheung. Nevertheless, it is quite diffcult to make a carbon fibre tripod with similar quality to Gitzo. I got a G1128 (from Man Shing), too. This G1028 is just for oversea trip only.

ak47 新進會員	39) 2003/09/19 20:20 關於腳架,9月號的攝影與攝像有一文章.是比評腳架的.內容對我些啟發.各位不妨參考一下,但中央圖書館還未有(真慢!).其他買簡體字書的書店都差不多買光了!!
vituslee 新進會員	40) 2003/09/19 22:24 sazabi, yes. That one. I bought it thru on-line at their website. I have never used Foba or Arca Swiss before. The one I used was Manfrotto 308RC. Arcatech is way better by far.
