Hi I'm new to this forum.
Use D7 for about two years.
Quick good - fast focusing & easy control, data memory for 7 rolls of film great for review.
currently with 24-105 (D) & 85 1.4 (D) LTD
24-105 with good contrast
85 is very good in contrast & colour.
want to buy 100 f2.8 & 5600HSS. saving saving |

我想應該是光圈太大,景深大淺的關係吧!可能是對焦點的問題. |

有時光圈過大會造成景深過淺,使焦點不知所縱.
可能跑到鼻子上, 又可能走到眼上....
眼睛清了, 鼻子又矇了....
這時唯有在理性與感性之間作出決擇了,
要犧牲一點景深,
還是要讓model 面矇矇?
那要閣下自理了... |

Hi Frank,
D7 with 85 (D) LTD is very responsive if focusing option set to fast (usually my default setting). Anyway, it is not enough/ very suitable for sports but more than adequate for portrait. The central dual cross sensors does a great job.
My lens is focusing fast on D7. Certainly, not as fast as 24-105 (much less weight).
Since LTD is about 200 grams heavier than normal 85G, the later should be even faster on a D7.

謝謝你的意見,由於那支70-200 SSM 實在太貴,無力(亦無甚手力)負擔,所以還是考慮 85GD 好了. 大家都說她很棒的光學表現,所以不用擔心. 只怕對焦太慢,不能接受. 我有支 20-35 3.5-3.5, 對焦比 24-105D 慢, 不過是可接受是的. 若然 85GD 還比 20-35 慢,到使用上較難接受. 尤以對住朋友以便攝(偷影)的方式捕捉自然感,AF 太慢始終不適合. 你的實際使用情況是如何呢??

Hi Frank,
Sorry I've no experience with 20-35. BTW, which body are you using?For Minolta, the focus speed & accuracy depend very much on the body as well. e.g D9, D7, D5, 800si, 700si all belong to their top class bodies in terms of AF speed.
My friend's 600si drives the 80-200 G quite satisfactorily.
Also the camera & subject distance will affect focus performance. Snap shoots can't be too close that should be ok.
For even faster response, try to turn on the "eye-start". It really boosts the performance by "waking up" the AF & AE systems before you put the camera to your eyes (ideal for snap shoot).
Lastly, the camera will easily activate the continuous focus mode when eye-start is on.

最可惜是VC-7把手
沒有像CANON-EOS-3
一樣有一秒連拍7張的功能
但VC-7的把手是最有
"人機一體"的感覺

有一點大家都沒有提及, 就是觀景窗, Dynax 7 和 9 是我看過最明亮舒服的觀景窗, 手動對焦時特舒服, 如使用大光圈鏡頭, 看觀景窗和肉眼看分別是幾乎沒有 |
