I got a Viewsonic P95F+ at $2980. It is a 19" monitor, very good spec, up to 2048 resolution, perfect flat screen, no blur at 1920 res., very good linearity of the viewing area.

Hello superman, may i ask which video card you use? I also have a Viewsonic P95f+ and use it with a Nvidia Geforce2 MX. Originally the image is really blur at 1280x1024. I modified the RFI filters ( http://www.caseserve.com/ht/geforceMOD.htm) and it imporved a lot. But the corners are still not suitable when viewing text under hight resolution. |

I am using mainly using Geforce 2MX at 1280*1024 for daily working, like word-processsing or internet. It is OK in sharpness while ghost edges are in high contrast area. I also use ATI 9000pro for large scale photo editing and coreldraw publishing. ATI is a lot better in speed, sharpness and ghost image.
The corners" problem happen to most CRT, mostly are blur and round edges. I think no way of CRT can compare to LCD at this part.
If you want best image quality, find Matrox G550 at $800 or the really best SIS 301 (a very entry class 3D display card but super in 2D performance).

Display card 我用緊 ATI 9200 SE,(ELSA $ Magic Pro輝煌)
顯示器就是Viewsonic G71F+SB
SB只不過是指銀黑色外殼版本.(Silver Black)
It"s trinitron,好清,不過變形都...幾難接受.
系我買那個的特別問題

我用緊Philips 109P4 (19" CRT), 顯示卡就用NVidia Geforce4 Ti4200. 我始終覺得CRT出顏色比LCD較好同準, 雖然變形係先天既問題, 仲有睇字一定係LCD最舒服...如果我做Graphic既話, 我目前都會考慮用CRT |

sony, vewsonic差不多一部也沒有display
看到philips 17" 107-P50好像不錯
sony CRT 質素如何, 是否名不符實?
Viewsonic P75F+SB是否約$1600,
與 P95F+ 分別大嗎?
我的工作只深2尺半, 放19"能嗎?

You might even install a 20" CRT if you can afford. My NEC FP1350 is 19" deep only. Some NEC 17" FE models are worth to consider. As I remember, only the very high end Sony CRTs are really good. Their consumer CRTs are no better than other high quality CRTs. Distortion control is Sony"s weakness. |

現在你買到既CRT都已經係短膽, 要超短膽既, 好似只有HITACHI, 不過質素唔算好. 而超短膽既CRT, 一般在變形的邊角表現都只係麻麻地, 真係冇位擺, 唯有用LCD. 現在的LCD其實已經唔太差.

我覺得就無咩問題....唔係好覺...
我見過間大型的設計公司除左大部份用EIZO 之外...都係用viewsonic...所以先買viewsonic....
而且聽說SONY 的CRT 停產了....
我有位uncle 開電腦公司的. 佢幫我訂回來的..
