md 新進會員	5) 2002/02/12 21:32 能不能af就要看當時的光度。因為你用延伸環後，相對的光度就會減少，所以你架機因光度不足而無法af。由於延伸環無鏡片，所以用kenko都無問題。我個套就買了$800for nikon af，無af仲平$200。Canon就唔知個價勒。新年進步

Why not fitting to all AF lens? karry, as emerald mentioned "50/1.8比較難‥‥小小白可以‥‥" you can AF on the EF50/1.8 even with a 36mm extension (I've tested but of course in a narrow range). The point is that for a fixed extension you will get a shallower DoF and a narrower range of focusing (e.g. only from 2-5cm in front of the lens) with a shorter lens (just like 50mm Vs 70-200mm), with these very same reasons we usually do MF rather than AF in closeup photography. Yet, you can focus closer and get larger images when go with 50mm than 70-200mm for the same extension. Hope this helps

So Kenko's tube should be more value for money. Nevertheless, if you have more money, you may consider purchasing a marco-len (Tamrom 90mm is about $2xxx). The image quality is much better than using extension tube. Besides, it is always difficult to use the AF function of extension tube.

kliss 新進會員	19) 2002/02/15 05:14 剛剛打算拆開個霉2x remove glass 當 extension tube 用, 但screws 都rusted, 只能拆了個mount 下來, 忽然望望支50mm, 個diameter fit 晒, 立刻用"寶貼"把50mm 和mount 黏起來 YEAH 我DIY 做了個倒接環, 還十分堅固! 明天讓我拍些macro 來看看 .: Kliss :. 我可不是那位Chris前輩啊! 只是個拿著Z1p 的無名小卒
