thanks for the advice! I totally appreicate it. I am really really tempted to get a completely mechnical camera... but i am a little hesitant about the manual focus. i have never used it, and all my lenses are made for AF. They all have aperature rings all right, but the manual focus rings feel a little loose... will I be ok? i mean, I have the determination to re-start my learning from the very begining, but will manual focus hinder my learning in this era where almost all lenses and cameras are made AF? Sorry for the dumb question...

yes... once in Japan my little f80 fell on the concrete ground when I was riding a bike.... fast! I was amazed it survived. god bless... Ryan, if I ever get  the fm3a, I will also buy a bike to complement it....

Hopefully we can see you guys again in March at bowen island :) You guys are super nice! We had our 2nd photography seminar today. Not as many people came, but the speaker today was really interesting, like you guys!

oh, one last question... what happend to this site for the past couple days? I was real eager to see you guys' message, but could not connect to the site... the server was down?
