I am also a user of Hasselblad H1. HiFi and AV(home theather with RGB CRT projector) are also my hobbies..... somewhat like you !!
Would like to learn more from you about your experience in using H1. By the way, how could you get the approval from your beloved wife for buying the 35mm, 150mm and the Leica at one time ??

sung Da-Da, 謝謝垂詢‧老實說，買D2實無關小弟的 ~徠卡路~ 也‧D2 is only M-Look, not M-Heart...... 一來D2看一眼就喜歡，再者H1~搞~成系統後‧整組體積重量均可觀‧D2拿來與老婆女兒同樂用，如此而已。

It"s my pleasure to learn that you are also a H1 user. Answer your question in advance, I personally think that womes are easily to be persuaded. When I bought my Pentax645NII system two years ago, I gave my wife a Leica-Minilux for our trip abroad. This time, I transferred to Hasselblad, I bought the Leica-D2 for both to take the pictures of our 1-year-old daughter................ to be continued. |

Sorry. The above message has some mistyped words. I say that,generally speaking, women are easily to be persuaded for they are more emotional in mind. My "strategy" is, never discuss with my wife befor my purchasing any new equipment, I show the pictures taken by the new camera to her and ask her and her relatives/friends to be my models..................... |

6008AF聽說相當便利
可是對於近拍的鏡頭好像不出(可能性極小)
當然施奈達的鏡頭是一定不錯的
就是粉貴(唯一缺點)
也看過它的成相
真的跟蔡斯不惶多讓

Have you ever encountered any die-hard Hassel fans who think AF Hassel is not true Hassel, in particular if the lenses are made in Japan ! That is, a true Hassel user should only use "MF" Hassel because he is supposed to enjoy the process of setting and focusing instead of taking shots with AF whthin short time to finish a roll of film. I have some friends using Leica M/R series or Hassel 503CW have these comments on H1 ! |

Although I am not young (I was born in the year of Chinese Cultural Revolution), yet I am interested in anything new, especially those "revolutionary" merchandise, i.e. H1.
Most fans of Leica or Hassy are "fundamentalists" of MF logic, and treat AF-sysytem as a "betrayal" of these "holy" brands in their mind. In MF/RF, they trust (Leica-M). On the other hand, in Zeiss they trust (Hassey).
I face the same "challenges"too.
Some of my friends cannot understand why I spent so much money to buy an AF-mode, Japan-Made, non-Zeiss-Lens Hasselblad. Besides, I bought a Leica-Didilux2. Again, I have to "confess" why I chose such a non-traditional Leica instead of a M6TTL or MP which they think should be one and the only choice.
Let"s look at H1, it"s the first omin-directional AF medium-format camera, which the user can shoot instinctively and confidently. And, H1 also allow the user to operate it "MF-lly" all the way. So, why cannot we accept a "dual-functional" Hassy?
Moreover, most fans think that "Without Zeiss*T (菜頭), Hasselblad cannot be Hasselblad." I admit that no matter Leica or Zeiss, they are great optical (lens) manufacturers, but, it doesnot mean that there is no one can produce great lens besides they two. If they see and touch the HC-lens, the all-mental(not plastic), technology-intensive finishing is a new standard, an innovation that totally different to Zeiss lens.
