想自製8x10機, 真係話都冇咁易!
最簡單就係一個A4紙箱噴黑油, 再用黑膠布封漏光,
盒蓋開個孔安裝鏡頭, 箱內底用膠紙貼好張菲林,
對焦就預早係個第二個一樣既盒個或開孔貼牛油紙,
量好盒長係黑盒作MARKING.

not difficult. And you don"t need to be very accurate for a DIY camera.

Not quite suitable for outdoor as it is a monorail design. And film back is not graflok in the orignal kit that you can not use 612 back, I modify it to Graflok by myself.

Any large format lenses are ok. shutter is on lenses. 快門線is not included in the kit.

there still be risk. It is not recommended if you have no wood work or model experience. you may cosider to buy a china made wooden box 4x5 camera instead of building you own.
and I seldom use this DIY one aafter I have a box 4x5 camera that is more suitbale to outdoor. |

try to avoid 8x10 if you are in hong kong. it is very difficult and almost impossible to buy 8x10 film in hong kong. 4x5 are ok. |

請問你所講既大陸做 4x5 幾多錢呀, 在那裡有得賣, 有冇好似bender kit 咁有皮腔, 而bender kit 既皮腔又可否起到好像移軸鏡頭般的作用?

I was told that you can find 申豪相機 in cameras shop in GZ/SZ.
I bought mine when I visit Seagull Factory in Shanghai.
They also get a very bargain 6x12 film back,

Mine is around $4000, however, I forget what mode it is.
In only include the camera, two lenses board for mounting lenses.
You have to buy lenses such as Schenider, Rodenstock............
Superman should be able to give more information about lenses and anything related to 4x5.
You also have to buy film back, focusing cloth, light meter (can use another 135 camera or DC for this purpose). tripod. Then it should be enough in the very beginning.
I only try one 4x5 film so far. I mostly shoot 612 currently. I only have a very old 127mm graflex lenses detached from a old cameras. |

I never like any wooden field camera.
But the 612 magazine from Mainland is really good stuff.
